Brighton and Hove Homecare

Our homecare service supports adults with learning disabilities who live in the community. We work with people aged 18 and above. Some people live alone or with friends, some live with family or carers. Our aim is to treat everyone as an individual, to recognise skills and potential and give support that enables people to become as independent as possible. We currently support 44 people who have a wide variety of support needs. For some this support may vary from assisting for an hour or two a week with budgeting, or filling out forms, for others it may be visits each day to support with personal care.

Examples of support we give are:

These are just examples. Support is tailored to individual needs and requirements. All of our staff are friendly and dedicated. They all complete induction and mandatory training, and some have NVQ 2 and 3 in social care. We have a strong commitment to staff development and give the opportunity to attend other training to further team skill and knowledge, which means we can support a very wide range of complex needs.

We have company cars so that staff can support clients who have mobility problems to go to see and do things they would find very difficult otherwise.

We are registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. We are approved providers for Brighton & Hove Council and West Sussex County Council.
