St. Mary's, Roehampton
St Mary's offers residential care for men and women with a learning disability. St Mary's consists of seven modern, self-contained flats each providing a high standard of décor and some with en-suite provision. We are situated on the High Street in Roehampton and are very close to all amenities including shops, cafés and restaurants. We are within walking distance of Richmond Park and a bus ride from Putney and Kingston upon Thames.
We also provide Respite Care, Day Services, Shared Care and a Buddy Scheme Service.
The needs of the individuals we support are the priority of our well trained and friendly care staff. The care fee structure is based on the needs of each individual.
Each individual has a person centred plan that reflects their choices, dreams and aspirations, and each individual's plan will have meaningful and achievable goals.
Person centred plans are developed following an in-depth assessment, in partnership with the individual, their carers and the referring and purchasing bodies.
The Day Centre, which is attached to St Mary's, gives opportunities for Social Education and Development. This service is accessed by individuals who live both inside and outside of St. Mary's.
We work closely with individuals, their family members, and local authorities, to ensure an individually tailored approach.
Our staff are experienced and caring professionals with in-depth understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities.
We offer high quality, person-centred support and recognise that creating positive lifestyles and meeting individual needs is paramount.
All individuals are supported in accessing activities/services of their choice within the local community. The care practices and philosophy at St. Mary's ensure that each individual feels at home and comfortable and is treated with dignity and respect.
In 2010, as a Service, we were successful in achieving The Investors in People Award. This Award not only reflects the commitment from the Organisation but also from the Staff Team to the Individuals we support.
