Development
The Frances Taylor Foundation is keen to work with individuals, and with commissioners of services, to design and develop new ways of meeting people's wishes, aspirations and needs.
In recent years we have:
- Developed the Homecare service in Brighton and Hove, responding flexibly and swiftly to a wide range of customers, including, for example, people living independently in their own self-contained accommodation, and people with high care needs living with their family.
- Converted over 10 small care homes in Liverpool to supported living, so that people have much more security of tenure, flexible support, a higher disposable income and more choice about the support they receive.
- Converted a 5-person registered nursing home in Sefton, Merseyside, to supported living, ensuring that healthcare needs are met though general, community-based services.
- Established a growing range of day activity services from our base in Roehampton, South West London, both providing directly and buying-in various activities, exercise, art, therapy and dance.
- Started to provide a residential respite service in London.
We plan to continue to develop new services and if you would like to see how we may be able to work with you, please visit the Contact Us page.
