Care and Respect for the Individual

 

Our aim is to provide a warm and nurturing home for 9 adults. Each service user has the opportunity to learn new skills, attend college classes or daycentre and participate in different activities in the local community.

Lansdowne Road is situated on the border of Brighton & Hove and is within easy walking distance of the seafront & city centre. We are close to the main transport routes and local shops, restaurants & cafes and the social life of this beautiful seaside resort.
All service users have their own bedroom, four of which have ensuite WC, shower & hand basin. All bedrooms are decorated to the taste of the individual and have a personal touch.
Service users have access to communal areas, which include 2 lounges, dining room, kitchen, laundry and large patio garden. They can add their own personal touch to their room so they have a sense of belonging and their own private space.

Each service user has their own care package which is individually tailored to meet their own personal needs, dreams & aspirations. these care packages are reviewed at regular intervals by the staff and service user concerned.
All staff are trained in the care of people with Learning disabilities, associated conditions of the ageing population and challenging behaviour.
