The Foundation's Social, Pastoral and Health Care Services
Social Care
Most of our services are in the provision of social care, where we work with
children, people with learning disabilities and older people. Whilst they
are mainly based in London and Merseyside, we also have services in Brighton
and Bath.
As well as several large residential care facilities, we have a range of services
for individuals living in the community plus day care provision. Partnership
working with other agencies and service users is at the heart of our development
initiatives and service quality improvement.
Pastoral Care
Our pastoral work continues to meet the needs of many people – from homeless individuals and young mothers, to families experiencing difficulties and those seeking deeper meaning in their lives.Since Frances Taylor’s early work, the order has concerned itself with human as well as spiritual needs. Counselling and conciliation work, aimed at providing practical support, feature in our pastoral care.
