Care and Respect for the Individual

Seaview is a house located within the pinewoods at Freshfield that provides twenty four hour care for twelve individuals who have learning disabilities and complex physical needs. It is part of St Josephs Adult Services and is managed by the Frances Taylor Foundation.

There are ten bedrooms, each decorated to a high standard with service users being encouraged to personalise rooms with their own choice of colour and furniture. Nine of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
There are three spacious living areas, a large dining room, kitchen, three bathrooms and two garden areas to side and rear. The staff team are fully trained in all aspects of learning disability and there is a First Level Nurse on duty twenty four hours per day.

We fully comply with legal requirements and meet standards set by the Frances Taylor Foundation and Commission for Social Care Inspection. We provide social activities, group and individual, that are organised in accordance with service users’ wishes, abilities and preferences.
