Mission statement

Respect the dignity and uniqueness of every individual, firmly based on the teaching of Christ, by promoting the gospel values – human dignity, justice and compassion – especially among those most in need in our society, regardless of ethnic, social and religious background.

Our aims are to..

• Work for and with individuals in need, not just providing accommodation or practical support but by providing hope by encouraging a sense of personal worth.
• Use every opportunity to understand and respect the culture and traditions of the people with whom we work.
• Use our initiative and creativity to ensure that our resources are used efficiently and effectively.
• Contribute to the promotion of human rights in all of The Frances Taylor Foundation activities.
• Work as a team with other agencies thus enabling our combined knowledge and experience to be used to their full potential.
• Invest in the development of our sisters, staff and service users, ensuring personal growth and the development of their skills, talents and spirituality, in keeping with the teaching of Mother Magdalen Taylor.
• Endeavour to be worthy to be in the service of those most in need.

In the spirit of our Foundress, Mother Magdalen Taylor, the Foundation is committed to following Christ by a Gospel way of life which is witnessed to in all of its services.
