
235 Valley Road Streatham
is a registered home for five people with a learning disabilities within
the community, providing 24 hour staff cover. All rooms are of single
occupancy and decorated to the service users individual taste. The home
has a spacious communal living space with a front and rear garden.
Our Aim is to provide and achieve:
• A high standard of care and support to
each individual service user with dignity privacy and respect.
• Opportunity for spiritual, cultural and emotional development,
with support from outside professional agencies.
• To provide a warm and homely environment in which to enhance
independence and reach their full potential.
• Adopt and implement a person centred approach to service provision.
• To ensure all staff are trained to encourage and support the
service users to make informed choices and take control over their lives.
• Ensure the home complies with current legislation and meet standards
set out by The Frances Taylor Foundation.
Development of the individual All service users have an individual care package which is based on personal centred planning, action health plans and a care plan. Service users are supported to attend adult colleges and where possible employment within the community.
