Finding joy in everyday life

Catherine enjoys being involved in the daily life of St Raphael’s Home. She especially loves helping to run the weekly coffee morning with Sister Eileen, taking part in art sessions and keeping her room tidy with a little support from the team.

Looking ahead to holidays with friends, especially the annual trip to Butlin’s, is always a highlight of her year.

“I like it here. Everyone is nice, and I enjoy doing coffee mornings, art and watching films with the staff.”

 For Catherine, it’s the friendships, familiar routines and sense of belonging that make St Raphael’s feel like home.
