Enjoying freedom to be herself

Sally has a wonderful range of interests and loves talking about the things that make her happy – from comedians Jennifer Saunders and Rik Mayall to Blondie, Bottom and Grease. She has built up a collection of memorabilia celebrating some of her favourites.

Although Sally can be shy when she first meets someone, once she feels comfortable, her personality shines through, and she becomes wonderfully expressive and chatty.

Since moving to Marina, Sally has really blossomed. She has become more confident in expressing what she likes and dislikes and plays an active part in planning how she spends her week.

In Sally’s own words: “I like my rest during the day, and I do not like to be told what to do. I like going out to charity shops and for a burger, and to Lunch Club, where I see my friends from the old house.”

And when there’s a party or celebration, Sally is often at the heart of it – confident, bubbly and ready to join in.
