The freedom to choose

For Susan, one of the greatest differences the Frances Taylor Foundation has made is giving her the freedom to make her own choices.

After previously living in an institutional setting where decisions were often made for her, Susan now enjoys the independence to shape her own life, build meaningful relationships and take part in activities she enjoys.

She values the friendships she has formed with the people she lives with and the supportive relationships she has with the team.

 “I am shown respect and can make my own choices in life. That is very important to me.”

 Susan particularly enjoys taking part in Foundation events, including sports days and summer fairs, where she can connect with others and celebrate being part of the wider Frances Taylor Foundation community.
